PUTRAJAYA, Mar 19 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 1,576 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including 11 imported cases.

Sarawak reported 407 new cases, followed by Selangor (348), Penang (182), Kuala Lumpur (175), Johor (137) and Perak (100).

To date there are a cumulative total of 330,042 confirmed cases and 314,457 recoveries (including 1,996 discharged today) at 95.28% recovery rate.

Two new deaths were reported today, taking the toll to 1,225.

There are currently 14,360 active cases, including 151 at ICUs, 57 requiring ventilators.
