PETALING JAYA, Mar 16 (Sin Chew Daily) – Simpang Renggam member of parliament Maszlee Malik was seen at the closed door meeting for PKR's members of parliament before party president and Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is scheduled to host a press conference later this afternoon.

PKR leaders and MPs began to arrive at Eastin Hotel in Petaling Jaya at 14:30 this afternoon.

When asked why he was present at PKR's closed door meeting, Maszlee said, "I was invited to attend."

However, he refused to answer whether he would announce to join the party in the press conference later.

He told Sin Chew Daily he had just arrived in Kuala Lumpur from Simpang Renggam.

"Right (I was there). I wanted to listen to what they said.

"I arrived early. Supposed to be 4.30p.m. (press conference). They invited me."
