PUTRAJAYA, Mar 4 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 2,063 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including nine imported cases.

Selangor reported 630 new cases, followed by Sarawak (361), Penang (337), Johor (255), Kuala Lumpur (120) and Perak (101).

To date there are a cumulative total of 307,943 confirmed cases and 283,629 recoveries (including 2,922 discharged today) at 92.10% recovery rate.

Five new deaths were reported today, taking the toll to 1,153.

There are currently 23,161 active cases, including 193 at ICUs, 99 requiring ventilators.
