PUTRAJAYA, Feb 23 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 2,468 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including four imported cases.

Selangor reported 932 new cases, followed by Johor (428), Perak (308), Kuala Lumpur (155), Penang (155), Sarawak (133) and Negeri Sembilan (100). 

To date there are a cumulative total of 288,229 confirmed cases and 256,678 recoveries (including 4,055 discharged today) at 89.05% recovery rate.

14 new deaths were reported today, taking the toll to 1,076.

There are currently 30,475 active cases, including 196 at ICUs, 92 requiring ventilators.
