PUTRAJAYA, Feb 18 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 2,712 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including four imported cases.

Selangor reported 1,013 new cases, followed by Johor (426), Kuala Lumpur (212), Sarawak (200), Perak (198), Kedah (182), Penang (116) and Sabah (114).

To date there are a cumulative total of 274,875 confirmed cases and 235,082 recoveries (including 5,320 discharged today) at 85.52% recovery rate.

Record 25 new deaths were reported today, taking the toll to 1,030.

There are currently 38,763 active cases, including 227 at ICUs, 103 requiring ventilators.
