PUTRAJAYA, Dec 20 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 1,340 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including three imported cases.

Selangor reported the highest number of new cases at 441, followed by Kuala Lumpur (284), Sabah (196), Negeri Sembilan (169) and Johor (156).

To date there are a cumulative total of 93,309 confirmed cases and 77,309 recoveries (including 1,067 discharged today) at 82.9% recovery rate.

Four new deaths were reported today, taking the toll to 437.

There are currently 15,563 active cases, including 116 at ICUs, 57 requiring ventilators.
