PUTRAJAYA, Dec 14 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 1,371 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including one imported case.

Selangor reported the highest number of new cases at 532, followed by Sabah (283), Negeri Sembilan (260) and Kuala Lumpur (124).

To date there are a cumulative total of 84,846 confirmed cases and 70,597 recoveries (including 1,204 discharged today) at 83.2% recovery rate.

Four new deaths were reported, taking the toll to 419.

There are currently 13,830 active cases, including 114 at ICUs, 62 requiring ventilators.
