PUTRAJAYA, Nov 5 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 1,009 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including nine imported cases.

Sabah remained the worst hit state with 564 new cases, followed by Selangor (180), Labuan (95) and Negeri Sembilan (90).

To date there are a cumulative total of 36,434 confirmed cases and 25,654 recoveries (including 839 discharged today) at 70.4% recovery rate.

Six new deaths were reported today, taking the toll to 277.

There are currently 10,503 active cases, including 78 at ICUs, 28 requiring ventilators.
