PETALING JAYA, Oct 15 (Sin Chew Daily) – According to a Pakatan Harapan source, the biggest problem faced by Umno is PPBM, and Umno is apparently using Parti Keadilan Rakyat president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to exert pressure on prime minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.

"PPBM doesn't listen to them, and they are trying to put pressure on Muhyiddin to do what they want.

"To a certain extent they are using Anwar, PH and Tun (Mahathir) to exert pressure on Muhyiddin."

A source told Sin Chew Daily Umno is now forcing Muhyiddin to satisfy all their conditions.

Another sources says one of the conditions set by Umno is a deputy prime minister post, or Umno will quit the PN government.

"If Muhyiddin gives in, he is finished, as Umno will regain the dominance in the months to come. This will mark the start of the (PN government's) collapse.

"If Muhyiddin bows to Umno's demands, he will be toppled, but if he doesn't, Umno will work with Anwar and he will still be toppled."

The source says Umno needs to get rid of Muhyiddin fast, and has therefore told Anwar they will support him unconditionally.

The PH source also said if Umno topples Muhyiddin and works with PH, it will soon start fighting PH, too.

As such, it says even if Anwar eventually gets to form the new government, an early GE15 is still inevitable.
