PUTRAJAYA, Oct 14 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 660 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including six imported cases.

Sabah remained the worst hit state with 429 new cases, followed by Kedah (113), Selangor (68), and Penang (17).

To date there are a cumulative total of 17,540 confirmed cases and 11,605 recoveries (including 233 discharged today) at 66.16% recovery rate.

Four new deaths have been reported, taking the toll to 167.

There are currently 5,768 active cases, including 108 at ICUs, 35 requiring ventilators.
