PUTRAJAYA, Oct 9 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 354 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including two imported cases.

Sabah remained the most affected state with 274 cases, followed by Selangor (24 cases), Kedah, Sarawak and Kuala Lumpur (ten cases each).

To date there are a cumulative total of 14,722 confirmed cases and 10,707 recoveries (including 188 discharged today) at 72.73% recovery rate.

Six new deaths have been reported today, taking the toll to 152.

There are currently 3,863 active cases, including 68 at ICUs, 25 requiring ventilators.
