KOTA KINABALU, Sept 2 (Sin Chew Daily) – Parti Amanah Negara has become the first Pakatan Harapan party to contest under the logo of Parti Warisan Sabah in the upcoming Sabah state elections.

Amanah information chief Khalid Abdul Samad said in a statement today that the party had agreed to let its candidates contest under the Warisan logo to show its support for Warisan president and caretaker menteri besar Datuk Seri Shafie Apdal.

Sabah Amanah has earlier proposed that all Pakatan Harapan component parties contest under the Warisan logo in the coming state elections.

However, Parti Keadilan Rakyat president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has announced that his party would continue to use its own logo in the election, while DAP has yet to announce its decision.
