PUTRAJAYA, Aug 18 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of seven new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including four imported cases.

Of the three locally transmitted cases, two were from Sala cluster while the other from Tawar cluster, all in Kedah.

To date there are a cumulative total of 9,219 confirmed cases and 8,902 recoveries (including 26 discharged today) at 96.56% recovery rate.

No new death has been reported.

There are currently 192 active cases, including eight at ICUs, two requiring ventilators.
