PUTRAJAYA, Aug 6 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 25 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including nine imported and 16 locally transmitted cases.

Of the locally transmitted cases, 12 were from the Sivagangga PUI cluster in Kedah, Perlis and Penang.

To date there are a cumulative total of 9,063 confirmed cases and 8,728 recoveries (including 15 discharged today) at 96.30% recovery rate.

No new death has been reported.

There are currently 210 active cases, including two at ICUs, one requiring a ventilator.
