PUTRAJAYA, July 17 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 18 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including ten imported cases, of which seven involved Malaysian citizens and three non-citizens.

Of the eight locally transmitted cases, six involved Malaysians and two foreigners.

To date there are a cumulative total of 8,755 confirmed cases and 8,541 recoveries (including three discharged today) at 97.56% recovery rate.

No new death has been reported.

There are currently 92 active cases, including three at ICUs, none requiring ventilator.
