PUTRAJAYA, July 15 (Sin Chew Daily) – Five new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including one imported case involving a non-citizen returning from India.

Of the four locally transmitted cases, three involved Malaysians and one non-citizen.

To date there are a cumulative total of 8,734 confirmed cases and 8,526 recoveries (including two discharged today) at 97.62% recovery rate.

No new death has been reported.

There are currently 86 active cases, including five at ICUs, one requiring ventilator.
