PUTRAJAYA, July 10 (Sin Chew Daily) – 13 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including eight imported cases.

Of the five locally transmitted cases, three involved Malaysians and two foreigners.

To date there are a cumulative total of 8,696 confirmed cases and 8,511 recoveries (including 12 discharged today) at 97.87% recovery rate.

No new death has been reported.

There are currently 64 active cases, including two at ICUs, both requiring ventilators.
