PUTRAJAYA, May 29 (Sin Chew Daily) – Director-general of health Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah announced 103 new COVID-19 cases in the country as of noon today, including seven imported and 96 locally transmitted cases.

Of the new locally transmitted cases, 12 involved Malaysians and 84 foreigners.

To date, there are a cumulative total of 7,732 confirmed cases and 6,235 recoveries (including 66 discharged today) at 80.64% recovery rate.

No new death has been reported today.

There are currently 1,382 active cases, including eight at ICUs, two requiring ventilators.
