PUTRAJAYA, May 19 (Sin Chew Daily) – Director-general of health Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah announced 37 new COVID-19 cases in the country as of noon today, including two imported cases.

To date, there are a cumulative total of 6,978 positive cases, 5,646 recoveries (including 31 discharged today) at 80.91% recovery rate, and 114 deaths (one new death today).

There are currently 1,218 active cases, including 11 in ICUs, six requiring ventilators.
