Putrajaya, May 5 (Sin Chew Daily) — Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah announced 30 new COVID-19 cases as of noon today, taking the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 6,383.

Meanwhile, 83 cases were discharged today while a new fatal case was reported.

24 cases are being treated at ICUs, eight requiring ventilators.
