Putrajaya, Apr 29 (Sin Chew Daily) – Director-general of health Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah announced 94 new COVID-19 cases in the country as of noon today, taking the total number of confirmed cases to 5,945.

However, 72 of the new cases reported today have been imported, with locally transmitted cases at 22 only.

Meanwhile, 55 cases were discharged today, with cumulative total recoveries numbering 4,087.

No new death has been reported today.
