PUTRAJAYA, Apr 13 (Sin Chew Daily) – Defense ministry senior minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob announced that prime minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin had decided to ban barbers, hair salons and optometrists from operating during the movement control order (MCO).

He said the decision was made after consulting the views of experts and non-governmental organizations.

Ismail Sabri said the prime minister had also decided to ban all forms of Ramadan bazaars during MCO.

Meanwhile, tertiary students currently stranded at their university or college campuses would not be allowed to return to their hometowns during MCO.
