Selangor MB: adequate preparations before lockdown
SHAH ALAM, Mar 16 (Sin Chew Daily) — Selangor menteri besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari said the state government had received proposal to put the state on lockdown in view of worsening COVID-19 outbreak.
However, he said adequate preparations must be in place before such a measure could be adopted.
He also insisted that it was the prime minister's and home ministry's prerogative to decree a lockdown, not the state government.
