KUALA TERENGGANU, Mar 16 (Sin Chew Daily) — There are 87 suspected COVID-19 cases in Terengganu, all from a religious school ordered to close by the state health department in Kuala Terengganu district.

State local government, housing, health and environment executive councilor Dr Alias Razak said these 87 people were put under investigation at Ulu Terengganu Hospital.

He said in a press conference today that the religious school had been ordered to close for 14 days beginning last Saturday and over 300 students and teaching staff were subsequently quarantined.

"87 of them came into close contact with a participant of the tabligh event at Masjid Seri Petaling."
