IPOH, Mar 9 (Sin Chew Daily) — DAP's state assemblyman for Tronoh Yong Choo Kiong announced that he and DAP's assemblyman for Buntong Sivasubramaniam Athinarayanan and Amanah's assemblyman for Titi Serong Hasnul Zulkarnain Abd Munaim, had left their respective parties to be independent representatives.

Yong also said they would support Perak menteri besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu so that their respective constituencies would continue to be taken care of by the new state government.
