KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 25 (Sin Chew Daily) — Comptroller of the Royal Household for Istana Negara Datuk Ahmad Fadil Shamsuddin said Yang di-Pertuan Agong will see all 222 Members of Parliament today and tomorrow, and will determine who will have the majority support to become the country's next prime minister.

He said this is the first time for a Ruler to meet every Member of Parliament face-to-face, in accordance with Article 42 and 43(2a) of the Federal Constitution.

Ahmad Fadil said in a briefing at Istana Negara today that the King would start seeing the MPs from 14:30 this afternoon.

"He will see 90 MPs today."

Ahmad Fadil also said the King would speak to each MP for two to three minutes, and the meetings would be witnessed by the Chief Secretary to the Government.
