PUTRAJAYA, Feb 24 (Sin Chew Daily) — Agro-based industry minister Datuk Seri Salahuddin Ayub announced his resignation as cabinet minister.

The Amanah deputy president said in statement today that even though he no longer held any government post, he would continue to serve Malaysian farmers and fishermen.

He also apologized to them for the decision to quit his post.
