MANILA, PHILIPPINES – Media OutReach Newswire – 7 October 2026 – Skyro, a high-growth finance group, has launched a pioneering cashback programme in the Philippines that allows customers to select the spending categories in which they earn cashback rather than having those categories chosen for them by the provider. The programme is available to eligible users of SkyroCredit, Skyro’s reusable digital credit line within the Skyro app. Each month, customers can select four out of seven cashback categories and earn rewards of up to 30% on eligible purchases. Categories may include groceries, dining, pharmacy, online shopping, fuel and household bills, and customers can change their selections from one month to the next as their spending priorities change. Customers who prefer not to choose individual categories can instead earn 0.5% cashback on all eligible transactions. “At Skyro, we want customers to have greater control over their finances. That principle led us to develop a cashback model that allows people to decide where they earn rewards rather than having those categories chosen for them. It is the first programme of its kind in the Philippine market and is designed to reward customers for everyday purchases they already make, not to encourage additional spending,” said Arsen Liametov, co-founder and co-CEO of Skyro. The programme has no minimum spend requirement to qualify for cashback, meaning customers do not need to increase their monthly spending simply to reach a rewards threshold. Cashback is credited directly in Philippine pesos rather than virtual points: every PHP 1 earned in cashback equals PHP 1 that can be applied to a future SkyroCredit purchase. Customers who prefer not to choose individual categories can instead earn 0.5% cashback on all eligible transactions. The new programme builds on the flexibility of SkyroCredit, which eligible customers can use wherever QR Ph payments are accepted. Customers simply scan or upload a merchant’s QR Ph code in the Skyro Philippines app and pay using their available SkyroCredit limit, whether in-store or online. The QR-based model may also be adaptable in other emerging markets where QR payments are widely used. Hashtag: #Skyro The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. Congress takes place in late October with stellar line-up of speakers and panellists HONG KONG SAR – Media OutReach Newswire – 7 October 2026 – The Hong Kong Institute of Landscape Architects (HKILA) will host the International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA) World and Asia-Pacific Region Congress from 28th to 30th October. The Congress will bring together landscape architects, planners and policymakers from more than 80 countries and is the first time the city has hosted the IFLA World Congress. The theme of the Congress is “Liminal Landscapes: Shifting Boundaries of Watersheds & Coastlines” and will examine how cities can plan and design for coastlines and river systems that never stay still and increasingly in recent years, as live-showcases of the effects of climate change. The three-day Congress will combine keynote lectures, scientific panels, workshops and awards ceremonies, drawing on Hong Kong’s own experience as a city built at the edge of land and sea to guide a conversation with global relevance. Mr. Paul Chan, IFLA Asia-Pacific Region President and Immediate Past President of HKILA, said the Congress marks a turning point for the profession in the region. “For years, landscape architects have argued that the space between land and water needs proper design attention, not just engineering,” he said. “This Congress puts that argument on a world stage, in a city that lives with the consequences of that boundary every day. We want delegates to leave Hong Kong with practical tools and partnerships they can take back to their own cities, and we want the wider public and business community to understand why landscape architects now sit at the centre of how Asia adapts to a changing climate.” The theme reflects a challenge every coastal city in Asia now faces. Hong Kong sits at the mouth of the Pearl River Delta, a position the Congress organisers describe as fundamentally liminal: neither fully land nor fully water, and shaped by tides, storms and human development in equal measure. The Congress will explore how landscape architects can work with, rather than against, these shifting boundaries, covering watershed management, coastal resilience, sponge cities, nature-based solutions and the cultural landscapes that form where water and settlement intersect. Sessions across the three days include dedicated tracks on climate action, disaster risk reduction, indigenous knowledge and the Sustainable Development Goals, reflecting how far the discipline has moved beyond garden design and into the frontline of climate adaptation planning. Among more than a dozen international speakers, three stand out for the breadth of their influence on the landscape architectural field. Kate Orff, founder of SCAPE and professor at Columbia University, will deliver the Congress’s opening keynote; a MacArthur Fellow and winner of the 2025 ASLA Firm Award, she has spent her career redesigning coastlines in New York and New Orleans to absorb storms rather than fight them. Stig L. Andersson, founder of the Danish studio SLA and a professor at Beijing Forestry University, brings three decades of nature-based design practice and a body of work honoured […]

HONG KONG SAR – Media OutReach Newswire – 7 October 2026 – Aurora Mobile Limited (NASDAQ: JG) (“Aurora Mobile” or the “Company”), a leading provider of customer engagement and marketing technology services, today announced that its enterprise-grade AI agent platform, GPTBots.ai, was invited to participate in the “Agentic AI Solution Day” hosted by the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC). Sharing the stage with international tech giants such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Tencent Cloud, GPTBots.ai presented its deployment methodologies for moving enterprise AI Agents from conceptual “what’s possible” to practical “business-ready” implementation. Endorsed by the HKSAR Government’s 2026–27 Budget initiative “AI for All,” supported by the Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau (ITIB), and organized by the statutory body HKPC, the event brought together industry leaders to explore actionable AI solutions. As a core speaker, GPTBots.ai provided participants with trend insights, real-world case studies, solution demonstrations, and expert Q&A, paving a clear and executable path for enterprises to adopt AI. From Task Execution to Intelligent Operations With the rapid evolution of large language models, enterprise AI is shifting from single-purpose tools for information retrieval and content generation to a new era of “intelligent operations” deeply integrated into customer service, business workflows, and decision support. However, bridging the gap between technical demos and real business applications requires overcoming multiple challenges, including knowledge transformation, system integration, accountability, and ongoing maintenance. In her keynote speech, “Agentic AI Deployment Strategies and Key Implementation Practices,” Rim Wang, Senior AI Agent Engineer at GPTBots.ai, shared a comprehensive deployment framework covering data governance, business modeling, system integration, and human-in-the-loop collaboration. Deconstructing Two Real-World Scenarios: Ensuring AI Actions Are Structured and Decisions Are Evidence-Based 1. Intelligent Review of Professional Documents (Case Study: Hong Kong Public Institution) Multi-source heterogeneous parsing: Automatically processes PDFs, scanned documents, and complex tables from diverse sources. Rule-based structural conversion: Transforms regulatory standards and checklists into executable audit rules, systematically verifying each item. Traceable preliminary review: Outputs audit opinions with precise source attribution—document name, page number, and exact location—while preliminary results are confirmed by professionals, achieving “AI-enhanced efficiency, human final approval.” 2. Customer Inquiry and Automated Quotation (Case Study: Hong Kong Intellectual Property Services Firm) Cross-system collaboration: AI handles intent recognition and requirement collection, immediately triggering backend CRM/ERP systems such as Zoho. Standardized calculation and fulfillment: Business systems automatically calculate amounts and generate quotations based on predefined logic; after human verification, AI automatically sends quotations to customers. Complex non-standard requests are seamlessly escalated to human agents. FDE Delivery Model: Bridging the “Last Mile” from Technology to Business To ensure AI solutions don’t remain at the conceptual stage, GPTBots.ai has rapidly adopted the FDE (Forward Deployed Engineering) delivery model. Engineering teams work directly on-site with clients, collaborating with business and IT teams to clarify requirements, build workflows, and complete system integration. This approach not only achieves deep coupling between abstract AI capabilities and concrete business processes but also transforms reusable modules into standardized workflow templates, significantly improving efficiency for future implementations. BANGKOK, THAILAND – Media OutReach Newswire – 7 October 2026 – ESG Symposium 2026 is advancing from a forum for dialogue to regional-level action. Under the theme “ASEAN in Action: Powering Inclusive Green Transition,” the Symposium builds on last year’s proposals to advance three key agendas: Energy Transition, Just Transition and Climate Adaptation. It also links these agendas with Public–Private–People Partnership (4P) collaboration, in order to move approaches from the policy level to implementation in the business sector and local communities, and to bring lessons from Thailand into consideration for adaptation in other ASEAN contexts. ESG Symposium 2026 Unites ASEAN for Action, Advancing Three Key Agendas through 4P Collaboration for a Tangible and Scalable Transition ESG Symposium 2026 is organized as a regional collaboration platform by SCG together with the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) and partners from all sectors. It connects leaders and experts from government, business, finance, international, organization and academia to exchange knowledge and practices. It also brings them together to shape responses to ASEAN’s key challenges, namely energy security, adaptation to climate change, and the creation of a green economy and green jobs that distribute opportunities and strengthen the region’s resilience. Mr. Joe Phelan, Executive Director – Asia Pacific, World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), said: “The sustainability transition is linked to competitiveness, security and investment, which presents both a significant challenge and an important opportunity for ASEAN. The key lies in connecting policy, investment, technology and people through collaboration among government, business, the financial sector and communities, in order to drive ASEAN toward sustainable growth over the long term.” In Thailand, the business sector will play an important role in turning global direction into collective action, particularly by helping SMEs and entrepreneurs in the supply chain adapt and grow alongside the green economy. Dr. Phacharaphot Nuntramas, Krungthai Chief Economist & JSCCIB Economist, noted: “Thailand must use the Green Transition as an opportunity to enhance its competitiveness and attract future investment. The key is end-to-end implementation, creating an inclusive transition in which large businesses help upgrade SMEs in their supply chains so that they can adapt and grow together. In addition, the Joint Standing Committee on Commerce, Industry and Banking (JSCCIB) is ready to carry the proposals from this forum forward through the Reinvent Thailand platform, together with the business sector and other stakeholders.” Three Key Agendas: From Progress to the Challenges Ahead This year’s discussions build on the proposals from last year, with each agenda reflecting both the progress made and the new challenges that must be advanced jointly. The aim is to develop approaches suited to Thailand’s context and to apply the lessons to other areas and contexts. 1) Energy Transition: Building energy security alongside competitive costs and decarbonization Last year’s proposals aimed to unlock access to renewable electricity through Third Party Access (TPA), Direct PPA and the reduction of regulatory constraints, so that the private sector could genuinely drive the transition. This year, the discussion moves toward raising the “readiness […]

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM – Media OutReach Newswire – 7 October 2026 – De Beers continues its participation in Homo Faber 2026 by supporting Botswana-based master basket weaver Shakunona Parata, who will demonstrate her weaving practice and present a new sculptural work created in collaboration with Beullah Serema and Peter Mabeo of Mabeo Studio. Based in Botswana, Mabeo Studio explores the intersection of craft, design and culture, collaborating with artisans to create contemporary works that draw on local materials, cultural heritage and a deep respect for craftsmanship. Diware in crating & Portrait of Shakunona Parata Curated by Artistic Director Es Devlin, this year’s theme for Homo Faber, An Island of Light, examines the interplay between light, materials and creativity, placing the work of craft artists from around the world at the heart of the experience. In keeping with Homo Faber’s focus on the maker, their materials, tools and processes, Parata will weave live in the A Rooted Ascent room alongside presenting Diware, a new sculptural work created with Mabeo Studio. A member of the Ngamiland Basket Weavers, from the north-western region of Botswana, Parata will present basket-weaving techniques using locally gathered materials drawing on skills and practices passed through generations. Parata learnt her skills from her mother and grandmother, and continues to experiment with different approaches to technique, pattern and colour. Her work is guided by her personal connection to the Okavango River, the movement of its seasons and the materials it yields. Through Parata’s work, the project recognises both an individual practitioner and the wider community and traditions of making of which she is part. Alongside a live weaving presentation at Homo Faber, Parata and Mabeo Studio have created a new sculptural work called Diware, that brings together natural materials from Botswana including woven palm leaves, naturally gathered porcupine quills, carved wood and semi-precious stones. The work is founded on Manyevora, a traditional Mbukushu attire associated with Diware, a historic healing ceremony that today is more commonly represented through dance. The Manyevora is the most prominent element in the Diware sculpture, comprised of foraged materials from nature. The natural and crafted materials have been brought together deliberately, each retaining its own character. This combination of elements reflects an interest in convergence, between maker and material, individual and community, people and place. Through Homo Faber, De Beers explores the craft skills and organic materials that originated from the same landscape as natural diamonds. Parata’s presentation follows South African artist Abongile Sidzumo’s participation in August. De Beers’ wider collaboration with Mabeo Studio will continue at Frieze Masters in London this October, where the studio is working with basket weavers from this collective, as well as potters and wood carvers from across Botswana on a new commission for Voyage Through the Diamond Realm, Chapter Two. Lynn Serfaty, General Manager – Natural Diamonds, De Beers, says: “Shakunona Parata’s work at Homo Faber reflects the skill, dedication and heritage that shape the relationship between natural materials and craft. We are pleased to support her collaboration […]

As AI reshapes investing and advisory roles, WMI targets 21,000 enrolments in practical, role-specific AI training for wealth and asset management professionals over three years. SINGAPORE – Media OutReach Newswire – 6 October 2026 – Investors and advisers must learn to work effectively with artificial intelligence (AI) to remain competitive as the technology transforms decision-making and makes sophisticated capabilities broadly accessible, Mr Ray Dalio said today at the WMI Global-Asia Family Office Summit. He said: “You are either going to be on the crest of this AI wave, or you’re going to drown under it. This is particularly true in markets, where producing alpha means making decisions that are better than random and better than the competition. Advisers will need to work effectively with AI to remain competitive. You have to get into that game and be able to do it capably. Otherwise, you will be bypassed.” Speaking at the Partners Forum session on Investing in the Age of AI, Mr Dalio, Founder of Bridgewater Associates and Chairman of the Dalio Family Office, said AI can support the entire investment process, from gathering information and defining decision criteria to back-testing, portfolio construction and execution. He stressed that investors still need clear criteria and a game plan, and should challenge AI rather than accept its outputs uncritically. According to Ray Dalio, investors should develop “their version” of AI that reflects their own values, choices and thinking. He described the future as “you and your AI partner”, where ideas are continually challenged, tested and refined through a high-quality intellectual exchange. Rather than relying blindly on technology, investors must understand the cause-and-effect relationships underlying their decisions and use AI to strengthen both their thinking and execution. WMI to equip professionals for AI-enabled roles Against this backdrop, the Wealth Management Institute (WMI) aims to achieve 21,000 enrolments in its AI training over the next three years. The training will provide practical, role-specific learning for wealth and asset management professionals, with safe and responsible AI use embedded throughout. Ms Foo Mee Har, CEO of WMI, said: “AI is already changing how we invest and advise. Investment professionals can use it to synthesise vast amounts of research, explore portfolio vulnerabilities and strengthen risk analysis.” Ms Foo added that using AI safely requires professionals to protect confidential client information, recognise bias and unreliable outputs, and maintain appropriate human oversight. She said: “AI can generate an answer. Advisers remain accountable for the advice.” “As AI takes on more analysis and routine work, the premium on human connection rises. Advisers who know how to use AI well will be better equipped to thrive—with deeper insights, better preparation and more time to understand family concerns, build trust and strengthen relationships.” The training supports the wider industry initiative by the IBF AI Workforce Co-Lab, recently launched by Deputy Prime Minister Gan Kim Yong to prepare the financial sector for changing jobs through training and job redesign. WMI’s goal is to help professionals turn AI capability into higher productivity, better advice and […]
