Wong Chen laments poor PH attendance during Wee's swearing-in

  • “Wee Jeck Seng just took his oath of office. This is a solemn and formal ceremony. However attendance is low from the Government side and almost full on the Opposition side."

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 18 (Sin Chew Daily) -- Wong Chen, PKR's MP for Subang, wrote on his Facebook this morning about how he felt for the landslide victory of MCA's candidate Datuk Seri Wee Jeck Seng in Tanjung Piai by-election.

He wrote: “YB Wee Jeck Seng just took his oath of office. This is a solemn and formal ceremony. However attendance is low from the Government side and almost full on the Opposition side.

“When will we get a house united for these occasions?"

He went on: “There are no ministers in the hall this morning; six deputy ministers are on duty to answer questions.”

Wong also said the Dewan Rakyat Speaker had gentlemanly congratulated Wee for his election victory.
