Liu: I never said I wanted PPBM or Mahathir out

  • Ronnie Liu emphasizes that he has never said he wanted PPBM to leave the Pakatan Harapan coalition or demanded Tun Mahathir's resignation.

KLANG, Oct 29 (Sin Chew Daily) -- DAP's central executive committee member cum Sungai Pelek state assemblyman Ronnie Liu emphasized that he had never said he wanted PPBM to leave the Pakatan Harapan coalition or demanded Tun Mahathir's resignation.

He said in a statement that it was unfair that some people had taken his article out of context, thinking that he was a very arrogant man who wanted PPBM out of the ruling coalition.

Nevertheless, Liu said he only wanted to remind the prime minister to honor his promise of handing over the baton to PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim as well as other election pledges in order to retain the support of existing PH supporters.

“Tun Mahathir is a prime minister for all Malaysians. This is the best time for him to embrace diversity.”
