KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 20 (Sin Chew Daily) -– Indian Muslim preacher Zakir Naik said he was sad that many non-Muslims in this country had seen him as a racist, and he apologized for causing the misunderstanding.

He said he was actually a person who advocated peace.

He felt that many non-Muslims had passed down their own judgments based on outside quotes as they had never listened to the full content of his speech themselves.
