A lantern parade held to celebrate Mooncake Festival at Menara Kuala Lumpur has created a record on Sunday, October 5.

Organized by LSH Service Master Sdn Bhd, the lantern parade entered the Malaysia Book of Records as the highest Mid-Autumn lantern parade at 394 meters above sea level.

More than 150 participants and visitors joined the open-air celebration while enjoying the panoramic view of Kuala Lumpur.

LSH Service Master chief executive officer Khairil Faizal Othman the event is held to introduce the traditional festival celebrated by the Chinese to other ethnic groups in the country made up of multiracial groups, for more to know about the cultural event.

The Malaysia Book of Record certificate was presented by Menaga Vadamalai to Tan Sri Lim Keng Cheng, chairman of LSH Capital Berhad.
