HATI opens doors to aspiring candidates for coming election, says party adviser
Wong: Capable individuals are invited to contest the next general election under HATI banner.

KUALA LUMPUR: Parti Hati Rakyat Malaysia, a newly formed multiracial political party, is actively seeking talent and inviting aspiring Malaysians to join the party.

Its party adviser Wong See Choon is calling for capable individuals to contest under its banner in all 222 parliamentary constituencies and state seats in the coming general election.

In a statement, Wong said candidates who are fluent in three languages with an interest to serve the nation are encouraged to propose constituencies where they stand the best chances to win.

The party leadership will give serious consideration to such applications, he said.

“The party currently has no resources and is starting from scratch.

“But politics is the social science of managing public affairs where the strength and resources must come from people,” Wong continued.

Parti Hati Rakyat Malaysia is led by former MCA leader Chan Tse Yuen, a lawyer by profession, and was officially registered with the Registrar of Societies on June 18.

Hati’s leadership includes deputy president Abdul Razak Abdul Khalek and vice-presidents Dr Lim Hong Jun, Derrick Kok, and Chee Chee Meng.

Frederick Ng is party secretary-general while Chua Bee Miau is treasurer-general.

Those interested to join the party or contest in the elections may contact Wong directly via email at [email protected].
