China Daily Asia Pacific is hosting a team of multimedia editors from all over Asia for a two-day meeting that started on Monday in Hong Kong on effectively sharing video content.
Zhou Li, deputy editor-in-chief of China Daily Group and publisher and editor-in-chief of China Daily Hong Kong, welcomed the video editors, reporters and other journalists representing media organizations that are members of the Asia News Network as they gathered in the southern district of Hong Kong to share their ideas.
Eight different countries were represented, including Malaysia, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Pakistan, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Bhutan.
“As members of ANN, we are united by a common mission: to exchange and share stories and pictures, enriching our content and benefiting each member within our network. This spirit of collaboration is just as crucial in our video endeavors,” Zhou said.
“Video has become a powerful tool for communication and storytelling, and as leading media outlets in Asia, it is vital that we stay at the forefront of this trend.”
Over two days of discussions, the journalists will be sharing their experiences and knowledge, as well as getting to know one another’s operations to foster an environment of collaboration.
