Petaling Jaya: The third installment of the campaign “Joining the Civil Service, Chinese in Action,” which encourages Chinese ethnicities to join the civil service workforce, will be held at the head office of Sin Chew Daily in Petaling Jaya.”
Hosted by the Political Secretary’s Office of the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), the event kicked off on March 3, providing guidance for those who want to become civil servants but do not have the proper channels, or who are still confused or have misunderstandings about civil servants
After the Malacca Chinese Chamber of Commerce and the Persatuan Perdagangan dan Pelaburan GuangXi Pahang, the third installment of the campaign will be held from 7:30 pm to 10 pm on Saturday, March 23, in the Cultural Hall of the Sin Chew Daily headquarters in Petaling Jaya.
Agencies involved are:
- Public Service Commission (SPA)
- Customs Department (RMC)
- Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC)
- Inland Revenue Board (IRB)
The speakers for the sharing session are:

- Senior Superintendent Cheong Zhit Hou, Chief Investigator, MACC KL
- Shirley Tan Sok Kit, Assistant Secretary, SPA

The campaign will be held nationwide, in addition to the locations listed above. Subsequent events will take place in Segamat, Muar, Johor Bahru, Pontian, and Kluang in Johor; Ipoh, Taiping, and Teluk Intan in Perak; Butterworth in Penang; and Kangar in Perlis.
