PETALING JAYA: Transport Minister and DAP Secretary-General Anthony Loke dismissed the reminder by the party’s former Bangi member of parliament Ong Kian Ming to Pakatan Harapan leaders not to forget their stand on the 1MDB scandal.

Loke said the biggest reason for the change of government in 2018 was the 1MDB scandal.

“First and foremost, DAP’s position on former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and the 1MDB scandal has never changed.

“It was because of this that we chose to work with Tun Mahathir.”

He told Sin Chew Daily during his visit to the newspaper’s headquarters in Petaling Jaya this afternoon that PH would not have worked with Mahathir if not because they wanted to pool their resources together to take down Najib.

“DAP has never forgotten its position. It’s absurd for anyone, including Ong Kian Ming, to allege that we have forgotten our stand.”
