KLANG: Several Chinese moral societies in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor are collaborating to offer Malaysians of all races free prosthetic legs at Persatuan Kebajikan Che Sheng Khor, Klang from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on 14 January.

Yayasan Sosial Moral Sejati Surya Gemilang Ming Ya Shan Ge, Jakarta, Indonesia, its counterpart, and another similar society, Persatuan Pendidikan Akhlak Meng Lip Sean Kor in Sungai Lalang, Sungai Petani, Kedah, are present to provide technical support for customised prosthetic legs.

The charity project is aimed at providing Malaysians of all races in need of a prosthetic leg to improve their quality of life in line with the society’s core value of helping others in need.

It was reported earlier that Persatuan Pendidikan Akhlak Meng Lip Sean Kor in Sungai Petani had contacted its counterpart in Jakarta for technical support to produce customised prosthetic legs for the needy.
