PENANG: it is rumored that Perikatan Nasional is prepared to celebrate at Komtar tomorrow night if the coalition wins the Penang state election.
Penang police spokesperson W. Pusphanathan said in a press conference today that the police had yet to receive the news, but will be on guard and will not rule out any possibility.
Additionally, he said during the early voting on Tuesday, the turnout for Penang’s police and military personnel was at a high of 95.01%.
“10,730 of the 11,294 police and military personnel in Penang voted.”
A total of 5,776 policemen will be stationed inside 334 polling stations throughout Penang tomorrow, while 349 will be on duty outside the polling stations to ensure smooth traffic.
All candidates are reminded to stop all campaign activities past midnight today.
