SETIU: PAS president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang reiterated that the outcome of this week’s six state elections would lead to the fall of the Unity Government led by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
He said in a ceramah on Tuesday night that if the Perikatan Nasional coalition wins in all the six states, there will be Members of Parliament who will support PN to form the new government.
“MPs, including some Umno leaders, are waiting for the right time to support the new PN government.”
He said initially ten MPs from Umno would support PN, but the number has since increased to 15.
“But they are being threatened, saying if they support PN, they would be charged in court.”
Hadi also said forming the new government is an important agenda to save the religion, race and nation, and as such PN must win in all the six states in order to take down the Unity Government.
He urged PAS members and supporters to stay united and work together to ensure election victory for the coalition.
