PENANG: Penang chief minister Chow Kon Yeow expects the six state elections to be held latest by the second week of August, or five or six weeks after the Penang state legislative assembly is dissolved on June 28.

He said this would depend on when the election commission wants to hold the state elections, but it will very likely be in August.
