PUTRAJAYA: DAP National Treasurer Fong Kui Lun said he had not received any phone call or summon from the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to assist in the investigation of the human resources minister’s aide and confidential secretary.

Utusan Malaysia earlier reported that MACC would summon a political party’s treasurer to assist in investigation.

Fong, who is also Member of Parliament for Bukit Bintang, said if summoned by MACC, he would cooperate fully to assist in investigation. However, he wondered what the party’s treasury had to do with the incident.

He also said he had never been summoned by MACC having been an MP for 30 years and DAP treasurer for over 20 years.

“If I have not done anything wrong, why waste my time? Do you think I have nothing to do?”
