Although a little larger than king size, an unusual bed stored in the Palace of Westminster in London is fit for a monarch, and King Charles III’s coronation could see its first royal sleepover.

The “State Bed” lives a stone’s throw from the Big Ben in a dedicated room in parliament’s Speaker’s quarters, with windows overlooking Westminster Bridge and the London Eye.
