KOTA BHARU: According to a source in Kelantan State Economic Development Corporation  (PKINK), the children of Kelantan menteri besar and deputy menteri besar were offered key positions in the corporation after they sent in their applications and passed their interviews — just like any other applicants, Sinar Harian reported.

The daughter of Kelantan menteri besar Datuk Ahmad Yakob is assistant manager at PKINK’s law and integrity department, while the son of deputy menteri besar Datuk Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah is assistant manager at PKINK’s corporate planning department.

The source said neither the menteri besar nor his deputy were aware that their children applied for the positions until the appraisal stage.
