KUALA LUMPUR: The 2023 Job Market and Salary Trends Report by human resources solutions agency Randstad Malaysia shows that Malaysian employees are expected to receive a raise in their salaries of between 3% and 20% this year.

Randstad said in a statement that recruitment activities were at all-time high last year, and that this trend is expected to continue in 2023, albeit at a slightly slower pace.

It also said the global economic slowdown could benefit Malaysia’s labor market, as companies are more likely to move their business units and headcount from Europe to Southeast Asia.
