PETALING JAYA: All visitors entering the country, including those from China, will undergo temperature screening checks for fever.

“Those found with fever or displaying symptoms or are self-declared, will be referred to the quarantine center or health authorities for further inspections.

“If the person is suspected for Covid-19, a test will be performed,” health minister Dr. Zaliha Mustafa said in a statement today.

PCR tests will also be conducted on sewage samples from aircraft coming from China, which will be sent for genome sequencing if found to be positive.

All visitors with a history of traveling to China within 14 days of their arrival will be required to undergo RTK-Antigen tests, and samples will be sent for genome testing if they are positive for Covid-19, said the minister.
