The recent Budget 2022 announcement has seen Malaysia’s continued focus on digitalization, aligning with the aspirations of MyDIGITAL and the 12th Malaysia Plan formulated.
With RM100 million allocated to automation for SMEs across the country, businesses will be able to scale in time to address shifting consumer behavior that has increasingly become more digital, as well as the demand from consumers with the gradual reopening of the economic sectors and social activities in the country.
Budget 2022’s allocation of RM1.1 billion to raising human capital capabilities through upskilling and reskilling programs will help prepare for the challenges ahead, especially when it comes to new technology such as artificial intelligence (AI).
In Malaysia, AI can significantly scale several industries such as healthcare, logistics, customer experience, e-commerce, fintech and more.
This can be made possible by automation, real-time data analysis, and multiple system synchronization, delivering better results.
This human-AI synergy will allow for business continuity and help us grow into a more communicative, collaborative, and community-focused society.
