PUTRAJAYA, June 30 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 6,276 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including 16 imported cases.

Selangor reported 2,836 new cases, followed by Negeri Sembilan (644), Kuala Lumpur (625), Sarawak (376), Johor (299), Sabah (242), Kedah (226), Melaka (223), Pahang (210), Kelantan (159), Perak (137), Labuan (132) and Penang (131).

To date there are a cumulative total of 751,979 confirmed cases and 682,680 recoveries (including 4,929 discharged today) at 90.78% recovery rate.

62 new deaths were reported today, taking the toll to 5,170.

There are currently 64,129 active cases, including 905 at ICUs, 452 requiring ventilators.
