Tajuddin expected to be detained today

KUALA LUMPUR, May 28 (Sin Chew Daily) – Former Prasarana chairman Datuk Seri Tajuddin Abdul Rahman was giving his statement at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) headquarters yesterday over suspected abuse of power. However, he was not detained.

It is learned that Tajuddin is facing two charges of abuse of power and is expected to be detained today.

A source told Sin Chew Daily the Pasir Salak member of parliament will be detained by the MACC today to assist in investigation.

MACC is currently awaiting the instructions from the Attorney-General's Chambers.
