SHAH ALAM, May 19 (Sin Chew Daily) – Selangor menteri besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari said it would be up to the national security council (MKN) and the federal government to decide whether a complete lockdown should be imposed on the state.

He said the Selangor state government's position was not to oppose or prevent a complete lockdown of the state.

However, he said all aspects had to be considered before implementing a full movement control order in the state in order to minimize the impact on the people.

"The prerogative to lock down the state lies with MKN and the federal government," he said in a press conference today.
