PUTRAJAYA, Apr 28 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 3,142 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today.

Selangor reported 1,019 new cases, followed by Kelantan (523), Kuala Lumpur (440), Sarawak (416), Johor (194) and Kedah (120).

To date there are a cumulative total of 401,593 confirmed cases.

15 new deaths were also reported today, taking the toll to 1,477.
